The difference between 1st Generation and 3rd Generation Garage Door Opener

- Please check if your garage controller is compatible with our module.
- You can use the pliers to short-circuit the wall button terminal on the opener. If the garage door opens or closes, it can work with our smart controller.
- This 3rd garage Door Opener Controller has two power supply methods, the first is USB DC 5V power supply mode, you only need to connect to the USB adapter to work. The second is DC 12-24V power supply mode, please pay attention! When wiring, you need to distinguish between positive and negative poles, and connecting the wrong wire will cause product damage! The two power supply methods only need to be connected to one.



FAQ
• It is not important to the brand of the engine. This smart device is connected in parallel with the existing wall push button.
• The output of this device is impulse dry contact signal. The relay is isolated from the internal circuit of the module. You can hang parallel to the button with any voltage. This gives a short pulse(not a constant pulse) and simulates the pressing button.
• It can work for opening a sliding gate if you have a one gang wall push button for the gate. This smart device is connected in parallel with the wall push button.
• You don’t need to buy a Hub for this device, this device connects to the WiFi of the House. But a strong WiFi signal is a must for this device, try to connect your phone to WiFi next to the engine, if it works the device will work otherwise look for a WiFi signal repeater.
• This is a WiFi only device, it doesn’t work with any RF 433Mhz or RF 868Mhz remote.
• This device is not compatible with HomeKit. But you can add Tap-to-Run Scene to Siri Shortcut in smart life app.

Easy Installation Guide
Find a proper position on the garage door to mount the sensor(You
can use the included double-sided adhesive tapes, screws or brackets
for sensor fixation). Please make sure the distance between the two
sensors is less than 30mm when the garage door is closed, and the two
sensors are well separated when the garage door is open.
