What is a low-power camera?
It's an IP camera with a built-in battery that can last for several months. The primary difference from normal IP cameras is that low-power surveillance cameras remain in sleep mode most of the time. They only activate when the passive infrared sensor detects motion or when the user is viewing the video.

Why do we need a low-power camera?

  1. Because the low-power camera uses a battery for power, it's completely wire-free, making it easy to install anywhere by yourself.

  2. It reduces the workload of unnecessary video viewing. Normal IP cameras operate 24/7, capturing many meaningless videos. In contrast, low-power cameras only record effective video clips when events occur, saving time on reviewing useless videos.

  3. If installed outdoors, the low-power camera can be paired with a solar panel, eliminating the need to worry about battery charging.

PIR Sensor Installation Angle:
When installing the camera, position it at an angle (the angle between the sensor and the detected object should be greater than 10°) for effective motion detection. If the moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically, the sensor may not detect the motion events."
