Product Description

Asphalt plants are equipment designed to produce hot mix asphalt. It uses aggregate, bitumen and filler material to produce asphalt concrete (Hot mix asphalt).
The main feature of an asphalt plant is that it mixes them with bitumen and other filling materials to heat the aggregate and then prepare hot mix asphalt. These aggregates, bitumen and fillers are mixed in certain proportions.The end product, asphalt mix, can be widely used for the construction of highways, urban roads, rural roads, parking lots.

Product Composition

Working principle

1. Raw material handling. First, mineral materials (such as slag, gravel, etc.) and bitumen are processed to meet specific quality requirements. The mineral materials are put into the aggregate silo and the flow is controlled by the weighing system, and then prepared according to the mix ratio. The bitumen enters the storage tank through a hot bitumen tank truck and is transported to the mixer through pumps and pipelines.

2. Drying and heating. During the production of asphalt mixtures, mineral materials usually need to be dried to remove moisture. Drum dryer are used for this purpose and the dried mineral material is fed into the mixer.

3. Mixing process. Add mineral materials, hot bitumen, fillers and additives to the mixer and stir thoroughly. During the mixing process, powder may also be used as a water reducing agent. The mixer usually adopts double-shaft forced type, with counter-rotating mixing shaft and mixing blades to ensure that all materials are evenly mixed.

4. Control System. The control system is responsible for monitoring and regulating the entire production process of asphalt plant, including important parameters such as material ratio, asphalt content, and mix temperature. It achieves this function through signals detected by sensors, ensuring that the quality of the mixture produced meets user requirements.

Features

1. The height of the asphalt plant is reduced to within 15 meters, and is divided into the hot material silo building and the main mixing building. The hot aggregate is transported to the main mixing building via a lifting trolley (which ensures the accuracy of the proportioning and is better than the elevator structure) after measuring. The asphalt plant is centrally placed in the factory building in the industrial park to achieve industrialized production.
