What's the low-power camera?
The low-power IP camera was first invented in the USA. It's an IP camera with a built-in battery that can use for a few months. Compare with normal IP cameras, the biggest difference is that low-power IP cameras stay in sleeping mode most of the time. It only turns on working mode while the passive infrared sensor detects motion or the user is viewing the video.
Why do we need a low-power camera?
1. The low-power camera uses the battery to provide power, which means 100% Wire-Free. It's very easy to install anywhere by yourself.
2. It can reduce the workload of unnecessary video viewing. Normal IP cameras work 24/7, but there are a lot of no meaningful videos, while low-power cameras only record effective video clips with the presence of events so which saves much workload on checking useless videos.
3. If the low-power camera is installed outdoors, it can be used with a solar panel, so you don't need to worry about charging the battery.
PIR Sensor Installation Angle
When installing the camera, please install the camera angularly (the angle between the sensor and the detected object is larger than 10°) for effective motion detection. If the moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically the sensor may not detect the motion events.
