Using Tips
The tire pressure sensor on models in and after 2012 can be read, only with some specified diagnostic tools. Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor; and use the following methods to read the tire pressure sensor. After replacing a tire or wheel speed sensor.
Please refer to the specific methods as follows
(1)Set the vehicle into the tire pressure training mode (plug the key, step on the parking brake, the car keys from the off to open 3 times, and then step on the parking brake, turn off the car keys, and then from the off to open three times; Training mode for the vehicle to start the state of the three consecutive dangerous alarm flash), if you hear the speaker sounded that the training mode has been enabled;
(2)Starting from the left front tire, the antenna of the dedicated tool for tire pressure monitoring is facing upwards against the tire sidewall near the rim of the valve stem to start the antenna. Press and release the start button and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. Once the speaker is chirping, the sensor information is read and the turn signal to be read at the next position will light;
(3)When the speaker is ringing and the right front turn signal light is on, the remaining three sensors repeat step (2) in the following order: 3.1. Right before 3.2. Right rear 3.3.Left rear;
(4) When the left rear sensor has been read and the speaker is also issued twice, the read process is completed and the body control module also exits the read mode

EL50448 ForGM Descriptions:
Most of ForGM vehicles equipped with a 315 or 433 MHz (TPMS) Tire Pressure Monitoring system, a "Sensor Re-Learn Procedure" must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using EL-50448 special tire pressure tool. EL-50448 works on 2014 For G.M models too.
Introduction :
1.The tire pressure sensor on models in & after 2012 can be read, only with some specified diagnostic tools.
2.Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor.
3.Please refer to the specific methods as follows:
Step 1 - Enter leaning mode
-Set the gearshift lever to "P"
-Put the ignition switch to "ON"
-Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DIC
-DIC shows "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn"
-Press "Set / Ctrl"
-The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode
Step 2 - Read tire pressure sensor information
-Start from the front-left wheel,
-Make the J-46079 or Diagnostic Tool EL-50448 antenna up against the valve core position & close to the rim of the -tire sidewall
-El-50448 tire pressure tool starts by the start switch
-Successful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn bleeps once
Step 3 - Same method to read other tire pressure information
Follow the instuction above to read tire pussure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels.
Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.
Please Note :
1.For certain vehicles equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system, a "Sensor Re-Learn Procedure" must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool 50448.
2.The package does not include the charger and battery.
