Q1: Does the NVR support wireless connection to the router?
A:
To ensure a stable and secure system connection, the NVR is designed to connect to your router via Ethernet cable.
This provides better performance and reliability than a wireless NVR connection.
Q2: Why do I need to connect the NVR to the router before using the ICSEE App?
A:
For remote viewing on the ICSEE App, the NVR must be connected to the internet first.
Please connect the NVR to your router using a network cable, then scan the QR code on the NVR in the ICSEE App.
Once connected, you can view your cameras remotely anytime.
If the NVR is not connected to the internet, cameras will still work locally, but will appear offline in the app.
Q3: What is the working distance of the WiFi cameras?
A:
In open areas without obstacles or interference, the average working distance between the NVR and each WiFi camera can reach 30–50 meters (98–164 ft).
In typical residential environments with walls, doors, or concrete structures, the recommended distance is 10–25 meters (33–82 ft) to ensure a stable connection and smooth video transmission.

The cameras do not connect directly to the router.
The cameras connect wirelessly to the NVR, and the NVR must be connected to the router via an Ethernet cable.
Physical obstacles such as walls, metal objects, or WiFi interference may reduce the effective transmission range.
