XB2BX may issue a product safety notice or conduct a recall if a product presents a significant risk to health, safety, or legal compliance. Recalls may be voluntary (seller/manufacturer-led) or mandated by UK/EU regulatory bodies.

2. Responsibility & Communication Protocol

Initiation of Recall

  • Manufacturer-led: Primary responsible party identifies defect and initiates the corrective action.
  • Distributor/Retailer-led: XB2BX may issue notices for branded or directly distributed items.
  • Regulator-ordered: XB2BX will comply immediately with OPSS or other UK authorities.

Customer Notification (Section 3 & 8)

  • Customers will be notified through direct email and mandatory account alerts.
  • Notices include: Description of risk, affected product models/batches, and clear next steps.
  • Public notices and press releases issued for major incidents to ensure transparency.

Coordination & Records (Section 6 & 7)

XB2BX cooperates fully with UK regulators. Formal notifications are submitted as required, and all recall records (batches, notifications, and outcomes) are kept for at least 5 years for full traceability.

3. Remedy, Cost, and Obligations

Remedy Process (Section 4)

  • Clear instructions provided for return, repair, or replacement options.
  • Pre-paid shipping labels are offered when XB2BX or the manufacturer initiates the recall.
  • Options include Refund, Repair, Replacement, or Credit Note, depending on the product and remedy agreed upon.

Cost & Closure (Section 5 & 9)

  • All costs (shipping, administration) are covered by the responsible party (Manufacturer or XB2BX). No fees are charged to the customer.
  • A recall is officially closed once all reasonable steps have been taken to resolve affected units and regulatory authorities approve the closure.

Customer Obligations (Section 10)

Customers must follow recall instructions immediately (e.g., stop use, return item). Failure to comply with instructions may affect eligibility for a full and timely remedy.
