Product Notices & Recalls
XB2BX may issue a product safety notice or conduct a recall if a product presents a significant risk to health, safety, or legal compliance. Recalls may be voluntary (seller/manufacturer-led) or mandated by UK/EU regulatory bodies.
Key Triggers: Non-compliance with UK/EU standards, identified hazard, or regulator instruction (e.g., OPSS, Trading Standards).
XB2BX cooperates fully with UK regulators. Formal notifications are submitted as required, and all recall records (batches, notifications, and outcomes) are kept for at least 5 years for full traceability.
Customers must follow recall instructions immediately (e.g., stop use, return item). Failure to comply with instructions may affect eligibility for a full and timely remedy.
This policy is governed by UK product safety law, including the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 and applicable EU regulations, particularly for sales into Northern Ireland.
| Issue Scenario | XB2BX Action | Customer Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer defect (Voluntary or Mandated) | Notify, pre-paid return, refund/replacement/repair | Full remedy, no cost charged to customer |
| XB2BX-branded or directly distributed defect | XB2BX-led recall, same steps as above | Full remedy, no cost charged to customer |
| Retained products post-recall notification | May affect customer's eligibility for full remedy | Risk to safety, remedy compromised |
If you have been notified or suspect your product is part of a recall, take immediate action.
