1. What’s the difference between a dynamic microphone and a condenser microphone?
Dynamic microphone and condenser microphone has different characteristics due to their different working principles.
①Dynamic microphones has good performance in noise resistance and high sound pressure, but they have low sensitivity. It often be used in live performances, broadcasting, guitar amplifiers and other musical instrument occasions.
②Condenser microphones have high sensitivity and wide frequency response, but weak in noise resistance. It often be used in video, live streaming, daily recording, ASMR, string music, piano and other recording occasions.
③Condenser microphones need to rely on external power to work (such as USB device power supply, 48V phantom)
Condenser microphones can complete audio signal transmission through analog connection.
2.How to select a condenser microphone and a dynamic microphone?
Both of them have their advantages. Condenser microphone can be used in quiet environment and bring high sound quality, while condenser microphone has outstanding performance in noise resistance and can be used in noisy environment.
3.If the dual-channel version can be used in sync for recording or podcasting without sound card?
No need to connect with sound card, EJoy D10 PRO dual-channel version can be used in sync to highly improve working efficiency.
4.If I have purchased one-channel version, can I purchase another one and use as dual-channel version?
The one-channel version cannot be upgraded as dual-channel version since they have different processing module.Customers are advised to choose the appropriate microphone according to the usage environment.
5. What devices can EJoy D10 PRO connect to?
It is widely compatible with diverse devices: computer/smartphone/audio interface/recorder/mixer, etc.
6. Why the RGB light effect, gain control and denoise are unavailable when EJoy D10 PRO is outputting analog audio through the XLR port in wired mode?
The microphone only transmits audio when outputting analog audio, no external power supply is required. However, these additional functions require external or USB C power supply, and 48V phantom power is not enough to drive. You need to connect a mobile phone/computer and switch to USB digital output mode before use.
7. Do I need to switch on 48V phantom power when EJoy D10 PRO are connected to external devices such as sound cards?
No, because EJoy D10 PRO is a dynamic microphone, which can achieve basic audio transmission without power supply.
8. What if the microphone sound is too low? What’s the best use distance?
First, keep the microphone within 15m from the human voice source and ensure the correct sound pickup direction.Second, adjust the gain and monitoring volume to an appropriate position in digital mode since it cannot be adjusted in analog mode.
